Dr. Biplab Mozumdar

Dr. Biplab Mozumdar obtained his MBBS degree from Dhaka after completing his postgraduation diploma in orthopaedics (D. Ortho) from NITOR (Pongu Hospital) in 2014, He then obtained his MS (Master of Surgery) from Bangabandhu Seikh Mujib Medical University in 2021.

He is a 33rd BCS health officer working as a Assistant Professor of pediatric orthopedic surgery at NITOR (Pongu Hospital). He works with the renowned pediatric orthopedic surgeon and teacher of many, Professor Sarwar Ibn Salam.

He took part in several workshops, symposiums, and higher trainings at home and abroad about the updated management of congenital deformities in children (DDH, AMC, etc.). Childhood trauma, fracture, infection, Perthes disease, Ilizarov, and pain management.

Pediatric problems are very much neglected in our country, Many of us think that it’s a curse of God,they are not correctable, but we pediatric orthopedic surgeons don’t think so. We are here to give you new hope and to give a better life to your child.

He is a member of the Bangladesh Orthopaedic Society.
